One of the contributing factors of treatment effectiveness is your relationship with the psychologist. So if you do not feel comfortable or do not “click” with your psychologist then you are encouraged to raise your discomfort and try to find a resolution. If you continue to feel unhappy then you are encouraged to contact another psychologist. Being vulnerable about your feelings is already challenging, you don’t need to force a relationship – if it is not the right fit Hien would be very happy to assist you to find someone else.
