Initial Appointment

The Initial Appointment is an information-gathering appointment rather than a therapy session. The appointment is scheduled for 55 minutes but may go for longer. You are asked to complete the client information form prior to the initial appointment. These forms are important, as they provide background information. This allows Hien to focus on clarifying your concerns, needs, and goals for therapy during the first appointment. Hien will ask many questions in order to gather the information to determine how best to help you. After the first few sessions, the sessions will be less focused on information-gathering.

Based on your forms and your discussion during sessions, you and Hien will discuss suitable treatment options and identify your preferable course of action.

Whatever your current issue, Hien can help you to cope with and overcome your challenges, through the administration and facilitation of evidence-based treatment and techniques. Sessions are currently offered in-person in Hawthorn or via online video calls.
